How ranking works

Each category becomes a z-score: how far a course sits above or below the 39-course average, in standard deviations. Total adds the z-scores of the categories that are on. Rank orders courses by Total, so it matches the Overall Ranking in the leaderboard workbook.

Categories

Engagement: enrollments, completions (100% progress), average progress and completion rate, all-time. Survey: NPS as the average 0–10 recommend score, course rating (1–5), and preparedness leap (exit minus entrance preparedness, 1–5).

Small samples

A survey category with fewer than 5 responses is shown as “—” and scored at the average (z = 0). Fall ’25 is the rank from the Dec 2025 leaderboard, ranked on all 7 categories.
