Momentum Online is a 12-month online class where you get paid to grow in key leadership moves that will help build momentum in your chapter. You’ll receive practical training, feedback on your plans, and be equipped with new ideas you can apply right away on campus!

Program Objectives

Develop the most important structures for growing a fellowship beyond 30.

  • NSO: Create a campus outreach plan (including NSO/JNSO) to welcome new students.

  • Small groups: Develop quality small group Bible studies to create spaces for spiritual growth.

  • Apprentice program: Leverage Apprentice programs to develop and identify future leaders.

  • Leadership mtgs: Establish rhythms to invest in and care for student leaders.

  • Live Training & Workshops

    Learn practical techniques from leaders and get feedback on your campus plans

  • Ministry Playbook Courses

    Utilize courses from InterVarsity’s Ministry Playbook to grow your understanding of core structures for campus ministry

  • Learning Assignments

    Apply your learning to your campus context and receive feedback from our Program’s TAs

Expectations

Campus Ministry Leaders (CSMs or volunteers) who enroll in the program should be on campus 10 hours a week and expect to complete 60-90 minutes of program work per week.  

There is also an option to audit the program. Auditors are welcome to participate in the Trainings and Workshops but their Learning Assignments will not receive feedback and they will not qualify for the $1,000 payment upon completion.
